Dear God,
Thank you for Carrie E. Breck and the words you gave her to write beautiful hymns. I have never heard of her before but I will search diligently and faithfully for her poetry turned to music. I am encouraged to learn and listen to the poems she wrote that Mr. Tullar and others turned into songs of praise. She is buried so close by that I feel a spark of joy that she was an Oregonian at the end of her life. May I learn from her that I can rest and sit and write or read poetry or sing hymns to my beloved Lord, Jesus Christ. "Face to face" may I see him clearly some day and may I be working and watching and praying all my days on earth.
